Who are we?

Bowden & Partners is a small but perfectly formed local estate agency. We have direct access to all of the most important property services that our larger competitors can provide, but with the added advantage of a passionately dedicated and personalised service.

Having been made redundant in February 2009 after the sad closure of a prominent local independent estate agency Keith Bowden and his business associate Thomas Dobner rapidly put plans in place to fill the gap in the market by combining forces to establish Bowden & Partners estate agency services.

Using our combined expertise and years of valuable experience our mission is to provide estate agency services with an outstanding dedication to exemplary customer service.

Environmentally Responsible
We do all that we can to reduce our impact on the environment through our trading activities by a number of methods including recycling of most of our waste, turning off appliances and lighting when not in use, and reducing paper usage wherever possible.

Consumer Protection
We take our responsibility to provide impeccable customer service extremely seriously, and for the protection of our clients we are registered with the office of the information commissioner under the terms of the data protection act 1998 and we are members of the property ombudsman scheme for residential sales and adhere to their code of conduct.

All of our written documentation is in an easy to understand format without excessive use of legal jargon or uncommon words, our website is designed to be easy to navigate, even for the inexperienced internet user, and we are committed to adhere to the Ombudsman for Estate Agents' "Code of Practice for Residential Estate Agents".

 

Environmental Policy

At Bowden & Partners we care about the impact that our business has on the environment, and wherever possible we make savings on our energy uses, our waste production and our use of consumable resources. We do this in a number of ways including.......

Recycling our waste wherever possible

Holding minimal stocks of pre-printed materials that would otherwise be disposed of when no longer required.

Extensive use of email to distribute new property alerts to our registered buyers to avoid mailing out numerous sheets of paper and envelopes.

Use of encrypted and securely backed-up computer databases to reduce paper usage.

Use of low-energy lighting where possible.

Switching off of all computer systems, office lighting and electrical appliances overnight and when not in use.

Reducing car journeys wherever possible.

Not only do these measures reduce the environmental impact of our business, but they also have the added benefit of creating cost savings, and by reducing our expenditure we can pass on those savings to our clients in the form of highly competitive commission fees for property owners selling through us.
